DRILL
LIQUID MAGNETIC SEPARATOR
This magnetic separator is designed for
the removal of ferromagnetic contamination from the drill
liquid before it goes to the vibrosieve.
This device is a magnetic filter formed by several magnetic
multipoles arranged in staggered rows. These multipoles are
highly effective and ensure a complete coverage of the flow
of drill liquid with magnetic field.
The multipoles are set into 3 cassettes of 6 multipoles each.
Each cassette is equipped with a lever for displacing it from
the working region to the service region for cleaning. Only
one cassette is removed at a time, while the two others are
left in the tank for filtering the drill liquid. After cleaning
the cassette is returned to the tank and the next one can
be removed for cleaning.
This device was first designed and manufactured under the
order of the Stock Company "Surgutneftegaz" and
now it is in mass production.
