WITH FREE PASSAGE SECTION
FOR INCLINED PRODUCT PIPELINES
Figure 5 and Photo 6 show magnetic separators of the type
"CH" (external separator) mounted into a product
pipeline. Figure 5a shows the case of equal diameters of the
product pipeline and separator, while Figure 5b show the
case when the separator diameter is greater than the product
pipeline.

Separators of this series are used in a number of grain mills,
where they help to prevent fires and explosions. The necessary
certification of such devices by the Russian State authority
is underway.
The magnetic system of such separators has two ring-formed
poles. Strong non-uniform magnetic field produced by the magnetic
system inside the separator detains the ferromagnetic objects
on the inner separator surface. The magnetic system is mounted
outside the separator, so that such separators do not decrease
the product pipeline capacity. |
